Chain Restaurants:

We'd like to add your restaurants to our SmokeFreeDining.us
searchable web site. Though it will be accessible nation wide), 
this site is sponsored by:

• Wisconsin Tobacco Control Board 
• American Lung Association, and 
• Wisconsin Initiative on Smoking and Health

Listings of all restaurants are free of charge. Our 
goal is to make smoke free dining more popular -- the 
norm rather than a rarity.

Option 1

If you will provide us a digital list of your restaurants, we
can append it into our on-line database, and it will make
our job easier, faster and more accurate. (Your computer
programmer can create this list in minutes. See the format
below.)

Option 2

We can provide you with a password and you can have
someone enter them manually (though this can be unruly
for large chains).

Your login/password will also let you access the database 
directly and make changes to your files at a later date. 
(Include your desired password, we will use your email 
address as the login name).

Option 3

Apply for web access at www.wish-wi.org/Rest_JoinStep1.asp
and that will also show you the extent of the information you
can pass on to viewers of the site. You may also add web
pages of newspaper/magazine reviews. (This option is not 
very practical for more than a dozen or so entries.)

Commas: If commas are contained in the fields, fields must be
either surrounded by quotation marks or fixed field lengths.

"NAME,ADDRESS,CITY,STATE,ZIP,PHONE*,CUISINE*,BAR(Y/N),URL"

* Please go to SmokeFreeDining.net for a list of the available
cuisines. Phone field should contain area codes.

If corporate store are smoke free but franchise owners may
optionally be smoke free, please provide only the corporate 
list (corporate.txt) and we'll append it as all smoke free. If you 
have a list of the franchises that are also smoke free, send that 
as franchise.txt. Otherwise we have listed a memo below that 
can be emailed to your stores advising them of the website. 
They can then log on individually and submit their own store.

Dear Franchise Owner:

A new web site, www.SmokeFreeDining.us offers free 
listings to 100% smoke free restaurants throughout the 
United States. To qualify, both the restaurant and bar must 
be 100% smoke free. It is sponsored by the American Lung 
Association, www.HadEnoughWisconsin.com and Wisconsin 
Initiative on Smoking and Health (WISH).

Check the web site to see if your restaurant is listed. If not, go 
to www.wish-wi.org/Rest_JoinStep1.asp to begin the process.
